My husband, son, and I went there after passing this gem so many times, during lunch hour. The waitress Ariana was so warming and welcoming. She truly was amazing! We each got tacos and the food was tasty, full of flavor. The salsas made the perfect pair to them. The aguas frescas (horchata and tamarindo) were so refreshing and authentic. Needless to say, we’ll be coming back for sure with more family.

Was recommended to try and was fully rewarded. Very clean and courteous staff. Our server was well informed of the menu and we asked for her recommendations. Dine in and get delicious warm homemade chips with three sauces and three salsas. A pleasing and tasty appetizer precluded our meal. Food was well seasoned and very tasty. I devoured my plate. Service was well timed. And a scrumptious warm dessert bite was presented to us as well. Parking is available and La Herencia has become a regular rotation in our dining out.

I remembered to take photos at the end of my meal which is why you only see some of what I ordered lol We got torta de carne asada en flautas de pollo. Food was good but service was better. We got a complimentary appetizer at the beginning and a complimentary piece of bread.

Ari is thee best waitress hands down! Beautiful, friendly and makes you feel like you've known her forever! The food is so comforting with their homemade tortillas, and free mini enchiladas they give as an appetizer. The sopes are absolutely delicious and the menudo is always perfect! Not to mention the free little slices of cake they offer as a dessert when you are done with your food. It's everything you feel when cooking at home with family! Love this place!

I ordered birria de chivo and I thougth they had mixed it with beef. Therefore I called and asked and Ariana kindly explained and clarified it to me. It was so tender and juicy. I noticed the difference between buying a pound and big order. It wasnt the same.

The chilaquiles were perfect honestly. Not soggy - crunchy and flavorful. My personal favorite so far is the bistec a la mexicana which was a huge platter! The horchata is real homemade horchata. Not the artificial stuff. The handmade tortillas were so good. Keep in mind, handmade tortillas are a special for the weekend only! Also it’s a smaller restaurant with plenty of seating but great for take out as well.

Went to this little spot after it was recommended to me by a friend. Food is really good, I like that they brought out this little samples of things to try before bringing out what we ordered. Also the bread at the end was phenomenal will definitely come back.
